Contrary to yesterday's reports it appears that Titus Bramble was not arrested at all and merely spent time at a police station sleeping things off after a night out in Colchester. Reports yesterday claimed the youngster had been arrested and then released without charge.

New contract refusing Town defender Titus Bramble has refuted the stories claiming an imminent move to Bobby Robson's Newcastle United. Talking to TWTD at Wednesday's reserve game with Spurs, Bramble also said he was still confident that Town would make Premiership survival.

Dropped Town youngster Titus Bramble has refused to sign a two-year extension to his current contract which ends in the summer of 2004. Bramble was omitted from the side which lost 1-0 to Newcastle on Sunday and has had an up and down season up to now.

Town have announced that the official Supporters' Club is to undergo a revamp with the aim of getting more supporters involved. The current set-up of the club appeared to be a 'closed shop' and the vast majority of members (all season ticket holders and Portman Plus members) had no involvement in it.

The deal to take Richard Wright to Arsenal is still not complete this morning with his agent, Jonathan Barnett, saying that terms are still to be agreed and medical to be completed. He added that the deal may take a few weeks to be completed.

George Burley has said he is not after Feyenoord's Danish attacking midfielder Jon Dahl Tomasson. However, he did admit he was watching the Danish side playing in Copenhagen on Wednesday, so it does seem one Dane or other was interesting him. The Town boss, though said he was not going to take this interest any further at present.
